Next Friday, Oct. 25th, will be the last day to sign up for Christmas assistance. If you have not called to make an appointment with me, please do so as soon as possible at 270-678-4480. There will be no sign-ups after next Friday, Oct. 25th.

Are you having a hard time making ends meet? If so join us next Tuesday the 24th at the extension office for Dinner On A Dime. We will be giving away some door prizes and you will get some great tips on how to save at the grocery store. Attending this event will help you qualify for Christmas Assistance if needed.

If you are interested in getting your GED there is an event at the housing authority today at 1:00.

There are two changes to our upcoming events. First, Field Day will now be on Thursday. Secondly, the Awards for 1st and 2nd grades will now be at 8:45 on Thursday instead of 9:00. Grades 3, 4 and 5 will still have Awards at 7:45 on Thursday as previously scheduled.

Registration is now open for Kindergarten Readiness Camp! K-Camp is open to students who will be entering kindergarten in August 2024. Camp is hosted by certified teachers and will occur June 24-28. All upcoming kindergarten students are encouraged to sign up in order to get a jump start on kindergarten readiness! BCHS Trojan Basketball Camp will be held May 28 - May 31. Camps are available to grades k-8. See the registration form for detailed information. #WeareBC

BCMS Boys Soccer open field and tryouts are coming in May. This is open to all upcoming 6th, 7th, and 8th graders. Boys must have a KHSAA sports physical to attend. If you have a child starting 7th grade at BCMS next year, be sure to mark your calendar for the BCMS Parent University! The middle school will host the event on April 25 at 5:30 pm. #WeareBC

BCMS boys basketball tryouts will be May 1st & 2nd from 3:15-5:15 pm at the BCMS gym. KHSAA physicals must be turned in to Coach Edmunds or the BCMS front office before any student can participate in tryouts. 6th-graders may ride the afternoon bus to BCMS. Please pick up athletes behind the middle school at 5:15.

BCMS, along with 4th-6th graders from our elementary schools, will present Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat at the BCHS Auditorium on May 10, 11, and 12! It's a great show full of tears and laughter. You'll definitely leave with a smile on your face! We would love for you to join us!
